Email Intake
Overview
This section replaces the manual process of opening accounts emails, downloading attachments and deciding whether each file is an invoice, statement or non-accounting document.
The system connects to the intake mailbox, downloads attachments, unpacks forwarded email files and sorts documents into review queues. Clear invoices can then be sent to processing, while statements and private documents are kept separate.
This connects to the new Gmail intake mailbox, only checks emails from the chosen sender, downloads attachments, unpacks nested .eml files, and sorts documents by confidence. It does not OCR/export automatically.
