Document Memory

What this does

Document Memory builds a registry of files the system has already seen. It uses file fingerprints so the same invoice can be recognised even if it arrives again through email, EML archive, upload, or Drive link.

This helps prevent the same document appearing in multiple folders such as processed_invoices and private_review.

Scan Document Folders

This scans the email import folders and updates the document memory registry.

Clean Ready Folder

This moves files out of invoices_ready if the same file already exists in processed_invoices. This prevents already-processed invoices being OCR'd again.
